International Digital Marketing Executive 


Reports to: International Digital Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:

The aim of the International Digital Marketing Executive is to create and implement country/language specific content and online PR strategies to achieve high value online coverage for our client. Furthermore, the International Digital Marketing Executive advises and supports PPC and Technical SEO to achieve excellent search marketing results for all departments.


Key Responsibilities:


Content and Online PR:

  • Create effective content and online PR strategies 
  • Research and identify influencers and experts by using various research methods and industry communities.
  • Build up long term relationships with journalists and influencers by communicating effectively
  • Analyse and understand your clients’ proposition and market by following relevant industry publications, influencers, experts, and social media channels. Amend strategy based on market needs.
  • Present content ideas and strategies to clients and account managers facilitating their ‘buy-in’ to the idea, outlining the benefits and steps needed to create high value online coverage
  • Demonstrate strong writing skills enabling you to create high quality content with the aim of hosting on media outlets, external niche sites, blogs, and the client’s site to create a buzz online
  • Timely and high-quality completion of all activity within allocated budgets.
  • Ensure all of the above activity is executed with the main aim of acquiring digital indicators (namely links)
  • Liaising with account managers and International Digital Marketing Manager; highlighting campaign issues as early as possible and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times 
  • Retain full visibility of client activities and be responsible for client results
  • Ensure activity is ethical, in line with webmaster guidelines and uses best practice activities 
  • Ensure transparency of activities by giving regular updates to your International Digital Marketing Manager
  • Keep updated with industry developments
  • Contribute to the companies blog in accordance with company schedule


Technical SEO:

  • Be a thought leader on technical aspects of SEO 
  • Advise and assist Technical SEO team on/with best practice and industry changes/developments
  • Where necessary, assist sales team with client pitches 



  • Be a thought leader on PPC 
  • Advise PPC team on best practice and industry changes/developments
  • Carry out essential PPC related tasks including :
    • Ad campaign/text creation
    • Keyword creation
    • Keyword cleaning
  • Where necessary, assist sales team with client pitches and attend any necessary meetings.


Research and Development:

  • Be informed of the latest industry developments and updates in the relevant market(s)
  • Maintain and update any necessary research/presentation documents
  • Keep all interested parties informed (International Digital Marketing Manager, Head of International, etc.)


Other team members:

Share interesting and relevant developments/news with other team members (both in the International and English teams)

Support International Digital Marketing Managers with training new starters who will be working in the same language
