Are you motivated by leveraging the story of data to drive media strategy?

Our client is a world renowned and leading media group with over 6,000 employees covering more than 100 Countries and are working with countless of the Worlds top brands.

As a Trading Manager - Media, you'll be responsible for working closely with the Digital department to define and implement trading options, as well as creating and enforcing the companies approach and ensuring a high quality level.

They've been using Agile methods of working for a long time, so this is something that is second nature to you too, as you'll be working with some of the agency's greatest media specialists.

About You:

  • You bring world-class communication and presenting skills
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of initiative
  • You've worked in a media agency as a Digital Media Strategist or Digital Trading Specialist
  • You're a data and media expert and have a methodological mentality
  • Working in an international context is second nature for you
  • You demonstrate strong organisational abilities and experience managing many stakeholders and projects
  • You have a passion for innovation and ensuring that clients are at the forefront of your mind
  • Working with agile methodologies and frameworks such as SCRUM and/or Kanban is in your wheelhouse
  • You speak a German fluently as well as having a high command of English
  • Lastly but not least, you have a thorough understanding of industry tools, systems, and applications

Your Role:

  • You will be handling negotiations with marketers for the development of trading methods
  • You will manage and support presentations for clients
  • You will be handling benchmarking data for data analysis
  • You will work with both Digital and TV departments on trading strategies and implementation of trading options
  • You conduct market and client research
  • You will consult account managers and specialists within the business, acting as a sparring partner to provide budget estimates, projections and trading plans
